Description
In this facilitated workshop, we will reflect on your anonymized cases from the field of the supervision of doctoral students and postdoc researchers. By using different methods and “tools”, we will develop a range of options for dealing with challenging situations.
The group serves as a sounding board and is constantly involved. In this way, you will also benefit from the workshop if you do not have an own case to discuss.

- Exchange with colleagues
Goals
- You receive answers to current questions regarding the supervision of doctoral students and postdoc researchers, reflect on your role as a supervisor and expand your leadership skills
- You gain more confidence in challenging situations in your role as a supervisor
- The course can contribute to a reduction of your «mental load»
Target audience
Supervisors of doctoral students and postdoc researchers of Eawag, Empa, PSI and WSL
Requirements
You can send your own anonymized case to the facilitator prior to the course.
In the course, a commitment is required to keep the cases and information of the other participants confidential.
